Physicians Ambulance Service is here for you! Medical emergencies or pre-scheduled transfers, our professional staff is ready. We operate at 100% ALS capacity. That means that no matter your medical needs, our first available squad is coming - no delays.
Our staff and vehicles meet or exceed all state requirements for ALS service. Dr. Donald Spaner MD is our medical director, and provides oversight and training for all field personnel.
Pre-scheduled, non-urgent stretcher transports must have documentation as to why the patient needs to be transported by stretcher, and cannot sit in a wheelchair.
Upon arrival our staff will need information regarding patient condition. Remember, you are transferring care to us. Additionally, we will need an ambulance "stretcher necessity" form filled out completely, signed with professional initials (MD, DO, RN or LSW), noting the provider number of the patient's attending practitioner. Also, please provide a patient demographics sheet ("face sheet").
