Physicians Ambulance uses DRS Tactical Systems Hammerhead portable ruggedized tablet PCs for bedside reporting. The tablets secure in docking stations in each ambulance with attached keyboards and printers to speed data entry. The printers are Pentax Pocketjet II thermal printers mounted feeders that have 100 sheet rolls of paper. This allows our crews to produce reports after each call where ever we may transport a patient.
The Sweet / Ortivus field data software ensures that all pertinent information is obtained on each call to speed and simplify the billing process. The software has built in protocol checking to assure that treatments are in compliance with our medical control's protocol.
